challenge 34 - 12th September - Sketch by Deanne

Firstly thank you to everyone who joined in with Anne's challenging recipe and welcome back after the summer break. With autumn fast approaching and kids back at school there should be more time for crafting again so we are back to our usual fortnightly challenges from now on.

As you may have noticed from a previous blog entry Deanne has sadly had to step down as co-ordinator of the blog and challenges. We wish her all the best with her new ventures and she will be sadly missed. However, she couldn't leave us without some inspiration and her parting gift to us was this sketch for this weeks challenge. We look forward to seeing your interpretation of this sketch and are happy to accept any form of altered art, scrapbook pages as well as cards. Feel free to rotate the sketch, invert it or use it in any way you wish, just so long as we can still see the sketch within your work.

Tuesday, 31 August 2010

It is with great regret that over a few months we have had some design team members leave and go on to pastures new. We wished them all the best on their new Journey thanked them greatly for being a part of Quirky Crafts Challenges for the time they were with us.

Sadly I myself now am having to leave the challenges due to time and commitments that are needed within my family and working life.
I hated saying goodbye to the girls and leaving the challenges behind, but I just cannot commit to them and hate letting people down.

Luckily for you the girls want to continue with the challenge blog so the challenges will run as usual on a fortnightly basis. I'm sure they will keep you posted on the goings on.

I wish all the best to Anne, Cazzy, Caro and Lyn with the challenges and I'll try to pop in for a challenge as and when I can.

Thank you for taking the time to read this
